An outbreak of African swine fever occurred in Sabah, Malaysia.

The African Swine Fever Central Disaster Response Center reported that an outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) occurred in Sabah, Malaysia.

According to foreign media reports, the veterinary authorities of Sabah, Malaysia confirmed that the outbreak occurred in Pidas County.

The authorities have culled domestic pigs and wild boars in a radius of 50 kilometers around the site and restricted the movement of live pigs and pork products.
